Hey guys! For the last 2 weekends I've been working on our kitchen. We struggled with the color and finally chose this one. We are happy with it! I'm attaching a link so you can see other pictures of the kitchen and a snapshot of our dining room table (which is still a work in progress!) I'm heading back to hobby lobby to finish buying the supplies for it!

Ok here I go...
1.) I was born on a small farm in Alabama. We use to tell everyone that you had to pack a lunch to go ANYWHERE because we lived so far out in the sticks!
2.) I made the all county and all area team in basketball all 4 years of my high school "sports career"
3.) I was 3 months pregnant with my first child and had NO CLUE! (I was on the pill and still had my monthly visitor!) I was sick and thought I had cancer or something...NOPE, it was Wesley! - My oldest son.
4.) I am a night owl and usual work til 1:30 or 2:30 every night.
5.) Before ebay and designing I taught special education for 8 years - and before that I worked at a Mental Health Center
6.) My most favorite things to do are to Cheer Wholeheartedly for my kids in their various sports events and do the simple things like watch them play at a park or chase a butterfly
7.) While visiting high school classmates back home this past month I was told I had changed the LEAST as far as looks go ... should I be offended? I mean, I ditched the 80's do LONG ago!!! LOL!!!

Thanks Michelle! Ours had about 3 or four words in it's title...one of the words was fiery! I need to run back to Lowe's and get the card in case I need to repaint again! Thanks for the compliments Michelle! Right now I've moved on to the backyard! Chloe and I are planting a Strawberry Shortcake garden!!!!

GORGEOUS!!! And how roomy!! We have lived at this house for about 4 years and have redone the whole thing EXCEPT the kitchen, lol. I will spare your the pics, hehe.

LESA!!! We love our kitchen too. The colors and granite are so kid friendly that I don't worry about making a mess! I am a goofy bargain hunter too...I won't buy it most of the time if it's not on sale. Most everything in the kitchen was on clearance at hobby lobby!!!! Now I do keep a folder with decorating ideas - I just tear pages from magazines and draw inspiration from those! Thank girl!

Thanks Angela!!!! The room I wish we could do next is our bedroom! We've had a bed for 7 years now but can't decide on a headboard!!! Crazy huh? I think we just put it off because no one but us ever really sees it so we keep bumping it down on our list of things to do!!!!

Johnett - you don't know how relieved I was when it was complete. I haven't once had to wipe a fingerprint off the walls with the finish we put on the high traffic walls. It is all coming together. July will be one year since we've been here. Chloe is 4 and we've moved once a year since she's been born. Sad (and crazy!) Thanks for the compliment girl!
